The Main Square of Krakow is also a place of “inclusion”.
According to Warsaw Voice, when the annual gay parade took place in the Main Square of Krakow in 2011, protection was provided by the local police force to the parade from young nationalists who attempted to block the march.
In addition, obstacle-free facilities provided to disable people can be seen everywhere in the Main Square of Krakow: apart from the easy access for tourists with disabilities, barrier-less restaurants and cafes can be spotted around the square. There is also a toilet for the disabled located on the Main Square.
