Time to get the public involved
Talking to locals gave us insight into their perspective.
We first targeted ordinary citizens, who seemed surprised at our enquiries about this abandoned area. “There’s just nothing here,” was the general remark.
Questioning the city tour guides.
Trying to get an opinion out of a Jazz player and convincing him of our plans to change the area.
Finding out that the owner of this restaurant chose the location only because of Schindler’s Factory and the visitors of the museum and does not care about the rest of the district.
We will see where this will lead us ….
