The glorious group 3 spent the last days brainstorming how to improve Krakow’s Ruzcaj area.
Based on the plethora of ideas we had, we selected the best ones and we present now the first few.
LEGAL STREET ART WALLERY
based on our observations, encouraging street art and providing legal space for those who would like to spraypaint in the neighbourhood could contribute to the local atmosphere and might keep destructive painting away from the houses.
This open air common “wallery” could serve many purposes, and could welcome many kind of artistic manifestations like in the case of Kopaszi Gát in Hungary:
SKATEBOARDING PARK vs MINIGOLF – RECYCLED
the “hilly” common space inbetween buildings made us think and one of the possible utilization is to turn it into a skateboarding field, but given that children already do have a playground close by, we decided to go with the idea of recycled minigolf. Keeping the project cost-effective, recycled materials would serve as obstacles and routes, and this could work with the givens of the field (little hill, some parts in concrete). part II of our ideas coming soon!
